Leros: Two young men aged 17 and 19 arrested for driving without a licence

As part of targeted traffic safety checks on Friday, 9 May 2025, two Greek nationals aged 17 and 19 were arrested in Leros. Separate criminal cases were filed against them for violating the Code, as they were found operating mopeds without holding a valid driving licence.

Legal proceedings have been initiated against both individuals in accordance with the law.

Police operations aimed at increasing law enforcement visibility and preventing unlawful behaviour will continue to take place at regular intervals across the islands of the South Aegean region.
