The Port Authority of Leros hereby announces the execution of live-fire exercises within the following maritime and land-based coordinates, near the northwestern coasts of:
- Kalymnos Island, and
- the land firing range (Partheni, Leros Island)
Scheduled for:
23rd and 25th of June 2025
From 09:00 to 15:00 hours
EXERCISE AREAS
A. Northwestern Coasts of Kalymnos Island
B. Partheni Land Firing Range, Leros Island
Geographical Coordinates (Point A):
Latitude: 37° 03’ 23.3” N
Longitude: 26° 53’ 42.5” E
A three (03) nautical mile safety radius will be enforced around the designated point.
IMPORTANT NOTICES
The aforementioned zones will be hazardous to human presence and maritime traffic during the specified dates and times. All vessels and individuals are strictly advised to avoid the areas.
All maritime associations are urged to inform their respective vessels to ensure compliance with safety measures.
Media outlets receiving this notice are requested to disseminate this information no later than 22nd June 2025.
