The President of the Municipal Council, Mr. Panagiotis Koubaros, has announced the topics included on the agenda for the special session of the Mayor of Leros’s Accountability Event.
The session will be held in person on Sunday, 14 September 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the event hall of the Alinta primary Municipal school.
The agenda topics for discussion are as follows:
1. Answers are requested regarding the financial management of our municipality, as well as its fair operation for the benefit of citizens – Rapporteur Kolias Michael.
2. Procedures for the delineation of land and sea port zones on the island of Leros – Rapporteur Bilis Nektarios
3. Traffic regulations – Rapporteur Konstantinidis Angelos.
4. What improvement has been made in the operation of the Leros Hospital since the establishment of the committee and after your visit to the Minister, a full year later? – Rapporteur Spyrou Nikolaos.
5. Degradation of Platanos and surrounding areas – Rapporteur Merambeliotis Vasileios.
6. Regarding the contract “Energy Upgrade – Automation of public lighting systems – smart cities applications, with energy savings in the Municipality of Leros”, I would like to be informed of what exactly applies after the termination of the contract regarding the ownership status of the supplies (masts, electric lighting lamps). Specifically, do the facilities belong to the project contractor or to the Municipality of Leros, and in addition, whether their maintenance is planned to be carried out by the Municipality’s Technical Service or not. – Rapporteur Grekos Kyriakos
