Press Release – The vehicle technical inspection (KTEO) process is now easier and more accessible than ever, with AUTOVISION’s mobile units reaching even the most remote areas of Greece.
The next stop for AUTOVISION’s fully equipped mobile units is the island of Leros.
From May 26, 2025, the mobile units will be stationed at Lakkí Port in Leros, offering technical inspections for passenger cars and trucks up to 3.5 tonnes, as well as for motorcycles, tricycles, and quadricycles.
The inspection schedule issued by the relevant regional authority specifies the dates and deadlines for each vehicle’s inspection based on its licence plate number.

Additional Vehicle Inspection Details
Passenger cars and trucks up to 3.5 tonnes, as well as motorcycles, tricycles and quadricycles with a first registration date after 25/05/2021 and that have completed four years since the first registration, must undergo technical inspection three (3) weeks before and up to one (1) week after their licence expiration date.
Public passenger vehicles (taxis) and ambulances, regardless of registration number, must be inspected one year after their initial registration as new vehicles.
Passenger vehicles used for driving instruction must undergo annual technical inspections.
