Port Authority of Leros: Agia Marina Port closed to vehicles until March

By official decision of the Port Authority of Leros, from Wednesday 5 November 2025 until 5 March 2026, a traffic ban will be in effect, prohibiting the movement, stopping and parking of all vehicles within the port zone of Agia Marina, Leros.

The purpose of this measure is to ensure the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles, as well as the smooth operation of the port facilities during the works taking place at Lakki Port and the transitional period of operations.

According to Decision No. 21/2025 of the Harbourmaster of Leros:

“The movement, stopping and parking of all vehicles at Agia Marina Port is prohibited from 05 November 2025 to 05 March 2026. Offenders will be subject to the penalties provided for by law.”

What drivers need to know

Entry and parking of vehicles is not permitted within the entire port zone.
Drivers are advised to use alternative parking areas outside the port.
Violation of this decision will result in administrative and criminal penalties, in accordance with applicable legislation.

This decision forms part of measures taken to support the operation of Agia Marina Port, particularly following the recent diversion of ship calls due to ongoing works at Lakki Port.
