The Municipality of Leros is proceeding with immediate interventions to deal with dangerous spots after the damage caused by the stormy winds, with work that started in Drymonas and continues in Merikia, as announced by the Mayor of Leros, Timotheus Kottakis, in a post on social media.
According to the information, after the great damage caused by the strong winds, the Municipality moved in a short time, activating the prescribed procedures to provide temporary solutions in the places deemed dangerous for public safety.
The interventions started from the area of Drymonas, where, according to the Mayor, the works were completed yesterday afternoon, while today they continue in the area of Merikia.
At the same time, the Mayor of Leros said that upon his arrival on the island, tomorrow morning, he will plan the next moves together with the Deputy Mayor of Technical Services George Tsachouriannidis.
