With Leros counting wounds on its coastal front, the road to Drymonas will remain closed from the playground to Ai Giorgi, due to the serious problems caused in the area by the bad weather.
At the same time, the damage to the coastal road network of the island is extensive, with the crews of the Technical Service of the Municipality on their feet, struggling to, in the first phase, ensure smooth passage from the central points and avoid accidents.
According to a relevant announcement by the Mayor of Leros, citizens are asked to show understanding and be particularly careful in their movements, following the instructions and markings at the points where work is being carried out.
It is noted that the Mayor Timotheus Kottakis has sent a relevant request for the declaration of the island in a state of civil protection emergency.
