A unanimous decision was taken byMunicipal CommitteeLeros, approving the submission of a proposal for financing the project entitled "Improvement of the Road Network of The Municipality of Leros" by the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum. The decision was taken in the context of the meeting of March 17, 2026 and was numbered 43/2026.
According to the recommendation of Mayor LerosTimotheus Kottakisand the Department of Environment, Construction and Technical Services of the Municipality, the proposal concerns a project with a budget of 2,457,000.00 euros, including VAT of 17%, and is expected to be submitted for financing by the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum.
The decision concerns the approval of the submission of the proposal and not the final funding or the immediate start of the work, as the next step is the evaluation of the file by the competent ministry, according to the current institutional framework.
