The Mayor of Leros, Timotheus Kottakis, made an extraordinary two-day trip to Rhodes, participating in a long meeting with the South Aegean Region regarding the course of critical infrastructure projects, such as the landfill and the restoration of the port of Lakki.
According to Mr. Kottakis, a long meeting was concluded led by the South Aegean Regional Governor Giorgos Chatzimarkos, with the participation of the Deputy Regional Governor Apostolos Asprakis and the rural Deputy Regional Governor of Dodecanese Christos Efstratiou.
During the meeting, as Mr. Kottakis mentions in a related D.T, the next steps necessary for:
- the completion of the projects already being carried out, such as the landfill and the restoration of the port of Lakki
- the projects that have already been financed and are in the tender stage
The Mayor of Leros thanked the Regional Governor of South Aegean for the support of the Region, pointing out the importance of cooperation for the completion of the necessary infrastructure projects on the island.
