Leros and Lipsi Hoteliers Set Priorities for Longer Tourism Season

The completion of the election procedures and the composition of the new Board of Directors was announced by the Hoteliers' Union of Leros - Leipsa, with Emmanuel Mathioudakis as president. The Union prioritizes the tourism promotion of the two islands, the approach to new markets and the extension of the tourist season.

PRESS RELEASE

We inform the residents of our islands that the election procedures of our Union have been completed with the nomination of the new Board of Directors and the election of representatives to the Panhellenic Hotel Association.

We sincerely thank all the hoteliers of our islands who participated in the election process, so that our Union, as the main exponent of the touristic development and promotion of our islands, continues its action, in cooperation with the Municipal Committee, with the professionals of our islands and with the participation of all of us.

The Hotel Association will continue to work, as it has been doing for the last few years, with consistency, cooperation and responsibility, always aiming to promote our tourist product, both in the markets we started 12 years ago and now see with satisfaction the results of it, (Turkish market), as well as in new markets that we have a special need to penetrate in order to achieve the extroversion required for the extension of our tourist season.

For this purpose, we ask for the participation and cooperation of all hoteliers, guided by the common interest of our businesses and the strengthening of the presence of our Union in the decision-making centres, as it has been doing all these years, contributing decisively to the presence of our islands on the tourist map of our country.

The Hoteliers' Association of Leros - Leipsic, with the experience and knowledge of its old members but also with the enthusiasm and ideas of the young, promises the society of our islands that it will make every effort to fulfill its mission and the trust of our colleagues, which is for us an honor but also a commitment to continue with all our strength to serve the hotel industry and the tourism development of our islands.
